I brush my hair several times a day, just to keep it smooth and straight, but then some of the hairs start to get uneven with the rest of the hair and then they start sticking up and out everywhere. I'm thinking about using some type of hair straightening product, but one that doesn't make my hair lose its natural shape.

Not especially. As long as you don't get it too wet, it should stay relatively straight. There are little purse sized mousses and hair products that I would suggest to any girl to carry around in her purse for rainy days. That way, although some of the frizz may come back, you can pop into the bathroom for a quick fix. I've had the best luck finding little beauty products at Target. Cute, small, and very affordable. Otherwise you can shop online, but that gets pricey. This is also a very good excuse to buy new accessories! Hats!

well I know it sounds weird but put like your head in plastic wrap if you understand me I dont but anyways try keeping it on for an hour or two and since you do it for going to school sleep with it. That used to happen to me and there is also this cream I use By Redken called 05 straight. you can find it at any beauty supply place. You put it on when your hair is wet and then blow dry or let it dry by itself.

You have a couple of choices...

You can go to a salon and have it straighted chemically. This lasts for a little while and then you need to go back and have it done again.

Or

you can buy a flat iron and use some "straight" product in your hair and make it straight that way. I would think this is the better choice only because it is then your choice for when you want it straight or not.

Try using a straightening balm/gel (Aussie Full Volume super hold gel straightens my hair) and a flat iron.

Go for a ceramic flat iron, I think they work better. Make sure you condition also if you are using these products as they can damage your hair.

Okay so my hair is naturally curly and I use ghds to straighten it using tigi s factor heat defender. But I really need a hairspray to use afterwards. Not one that has a firm hold so much because it's not the style I need to keep in, more of a hairspray that protects against humidity and stops it going fluffy and frizzy - i.e. keeps it how it was straight after straightening it. I have curly hair too and straighten it everyday. I put Sunsilk's Shine Spray on myhair then blow dry. Then before I put my straightener to it I spray on Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight spray to each section.. it works amazing and gets it really straight and keeps it that way... i've tried many different straightening sprays and products and my hair would always frizz up or the humidity would get to it but this product works the best and it's only a few bucks.. they also have the shampoo and conditioner to go with it but i havent tried it.

ponytails- half, side, pigtails

buns- loose and messy

gel- scrunch it

iron- curl it, crimp it

accessories- headbands, scarves, cute clips, cute bows, bandanas.

bangs- clip them up

here are some suggestions to get wavy/curly hair. i havent tried some of them, but i ve heard that they work-

curl with iron or rollers

put some hairspray in ur hair before going to bed and the tossing and moving will create random waves

braid ur hair and when u remove it there will be waves

put some defining product in ur hair and keep twirling it around ur finger. then, finger comb gently through to separate the waves

use sea salt spray or surf spray. sea salt will give really pretty beach waves

use mousse

scruch it with gel

get a perm for a more lasting solution

Try the best of two worlds (side parting and pulled back) with a pretty clamp. Depending on the length, try a french twist or a soft braid. Spray your hair heavy when you curl it or style it--no mouse because, particularly if you have oily hair, it will make it oily quicker.

friend of mine has the same kind of hair and she got it cut about to her chin, it was past her shoulders. It is slightly longer in the front than the back, and the bottom of the back has slight layers cut into it. It REALLY looks good on her and gives her hair body. Before it did nothing but hang down. The best thing to do is just play up what you have and not try to get something you don't have..it takes up so much time trying to get curls in your hair to stay if you don't have them. I finally have let my hair go curly like it wants to instead of trying to keep it straight!! I always wanted smooth, staight hair, but it always ended up frizzy, so now I just work with the curls..seems nobody is eveer happy with the hair they have!

Well...I have dead straight hair and I just went to get it cut and I decided that I needed a new look, so I got my hair cut in that choppy, layered look and it looks graet!!! And in the morning all I have to do is brush it and it looks great!
