I live in the heart of Koreatown in Los Angeles, and I have always noticed that many of the Korean (or other Asian girls) have straight hair, even if they have it in a ponytail. How can I get hair like you guys?

they are born that way, lucky, my dad is from pakistan...but my mom is american and her hair is poofy. i got my moms hair. sad isnt it.

some asian girls put oil in their hair though.

... that's how they're born, with super-straight hair. You really can't reproduce naturally super-straight hair, trust me, I've tried. I actually had hair so straight, the first time I got it cut somewhere, the hairdresser said it was the straightest hair she'd ever seen. Then came puberty, and my hair went to hell in a handbasket.

lol people ALWAYS ask me that, well it's just genes I don't need to do anything to my hair and it's just naturally straight, but I always wish I had curly hair haha. But if I want to make my hair super straight I just blow dry it and it looks like I used a straightener. Everyone's always surprise when I tell them I didn't use a straightener..

my hair's wavy, so i usually use the ceramic hair flat iron to straighten it out. it stays straight and sleek until i wash my hair.
