Hairspray for keeping hair straight?

Okay so my hair is naturally curly and I use ghds to straighten it using tigi s factor heat defender. But I really need a hairspray to use afterwards. Not one that has a firm hold so much because it's not the style I need to keep in, more of a hairspray that protects against humidity and stops it going fluffy and frizzy - i.e. keeps it how it was straight after straightening it. Also needs to be available in the Uk, be it instore or on ebay or something. thanks.

i have culy hair too! yey! anyway! when i straighten my hair then i always finish it with a good spray of loreal elnet (the one in the white bottle not the other ones) on a padle brush. keep doing it through the day because it really helps keep it straight :) x

I used to have the same problem when I first got my flat iron. I began my day by taking a shower, blow drying my hair, then straightening it with my Hot Tools Ceramic Flat iron. My hair always looked fabulous when I walked out the door for school, but by lunch, my hair was wavy, and eventually, by the end of the day, it was practically curly. I eventually found a product that kept my hair straight throughout the day. If you are just wearing your hair down, and don't want it to be hard or weighed down, I recommend the TRESemme Anti-Frizz Secret Smoothing Creme. It works very well, and I use it at least 4 times a week. I have curly hair too and straighten it everyday. I put Sunsilk's Shine Spray on myhair then blow dry. Then before I put my straightener to it I spray on Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight spray to each section.. it works amazing and gets it really straight and keeps it that way... i've tried many different straightening sprays and products and my hair would always frizz up or the humidity would get to it but this product works the best and it's only a few bucks.. they also have the shampoo and conditioner to go with it but i havent tried it.

gel- scrunch it

iron- curl it, crimp it

here are some suggestions to get wavy/curly hair. i havent tried some of them, but i ve heard that they work-

curl with iron or rollers

put some hairspray in ur hair before going to bed and the tossing and moving will create random waves

braid ur hair and when u remove it there will be waves

put some defining product in ur hair and keep twirling it around ur finger. then, finger comb gently through to separate the waves

use sea salt spray or surf spray. sea salt will give really pretty beach waves

use mousse

scruch it with gel

get a perm for a more lasting solution

Try the best of two worlds (side parting and pulled back) with a pretty clamp. Depending on the length, try a french twist or a soft braid. Spray your hair heavy when you curl it or style it--no mouse because, particularly if you have oily hair, it will make it oily quicker.

friend of mine has the same kind of hair and she got it cut about to her chin, it was past her shoulders. It is slightly longer in the front than the back, and the bottom of the back has slight layers cut into it. It REALLY looks good on her and gives her hair body. Before it did nothing but hang down. The best thing to do is just play up what you have and not try to get something you don't have..it takes up so much time trying to get curls in your hair to stay if you don't have them. I finally have let my hair go curly like it wants to instead of trying to keep it straight!! I always wanted smooth, staight hair, but it always ended up frizzy, so now I just work with the curls..seems nobody is eveer happy with the hair they have!

Well...I have dead straight hair and I just went to get it cut and I decided that I needed a new look, so I got my hair cut in that choppy, layered look and it looks graet!!! And in the morning all I have to do is brush it and it looks great!

No lol that doesn't work. I have curly hair, and i straighten it. You can get it relaxed at the salon though. Yeah, and straightening gels, shampoo's, serums, etc. DO NOT WORK.

... that's how they're born, with super-straight hair. You really can't reproduce naturally super-straight hair, trust me, I've tried. I actually had hair so straight, the first time I got it cut somewhere, the hairdresser said it was the straightest hair she'd ever seen. Then came puberty, and my hair went to hell in a handbasket.

Your lucky to have straight hair there is so much you can do with it. How about getting some long layers on the back of your hair to add volume to your fine hair and then have a side part but make it up to eye level so you can't put in behind your ears, or you could have layers at the front of your hair starting from your cheekbones to shape your face, so when yo tie your hair back you can have a couple of the strands out it more of a safe cut, or do what the other girl suggested and have a straight cut accross your forhead, keeping in mind that if you end up no liking it then your stuck with it for a long while till it grows back.

You can use Biosilk, which is this transparent anti-frizz/shine thingy. It's really good.

There's also this L'oreal product that comes in a little orange bottle that's for frizzyness and keeping hair straight.
