I have long straight hair that is fine (thin). I once had swept bangs, but I didn't like them much. Yes, it looked nice, but it was a hassle keeping it behind my ear. I want bangs, but I am not sure about them. Suggestions please?

Depending on your style long bangs are better so that your face doesn't look choppy and square with short ones. I'd suggest going to a hair stylist and asking there. But a general idea I think would work is get them swept but more to one side. I have mine longer to the left side with a higher middle point. They don't really get in my way and my hair is long and straight as well. The short point is off of the center to the right and the left is longer than the right. Hope you find something that works!

Your lucky to have straight hair there is so much you can do with it. How about getting some long layers on the back of your hair to add volume to your fine hair and then have a side part but make it up to eye level so you can't put in behind your ears, or you could have layers at the front of your hair starting from your cheekbones to shape your face, so when yo tie your hair back you can have a couple of the strands out it more of a safe cut, or do what the other girl suggested and have a straight cut accross your forhead, keeping in mind that if you end up no liking it then your stuck with it for a long while till it grows back.

There's a lot of different products you can buy at places like CVS and Wal-Mart.

You can use Biosilk, which is this transparent anti-frizz/shine thingy. It's really good.

There's also this L'oreal product that comes in a little orange bottle that's for frizzyness and keeping hair straight.

Those are the wo best ones I've used.

For now, I'm using this purrple Sunsilk bottle that says something about keeping your straight hair after showering. :P

You could buy tiny roller curlers and put them in before you go to sleep and then take them out in the morning and they would look just like hers........don't scrunch it if ur hair is naturally straight it won't look like her's at all. Good-Luck:)

The person used a wide barrel brush and Joico "silk result" spray.

He sprayed my hair with that stuff, and twirled my hair around the brush (hard to describe) and blew dried it.

No it doesnt mean it will be curly. Baby hair is generally curly because its so thin. When the real hair grows in, around toddler age, in most cases, its not as curly at all.

Whatever hair she grows is what she will grow. You wont really know its texture, or realy even its color, until she's older.

Her hair length now will not determine if it will be curly or not. My daughter had barely any hair compared to most kids her age, until around age 2. Now it just keeps growing and growing! It's gotten longer in the past few months, it's fine and straight, but curly on the ends. Between me and her father, there's no telling what kind of hair she will have to deal with! LOL Also, a person's hair texture can change when they get older. My brother always had nice, manageable hair, and now that he's growing up it's gotten a lot wavier and has a mind of it's own. omgosh! i have this same problem! my hair is straight and i get really bored of wearing it down all the time. i also hair the same haircut as you!

i try to wear a different style on my hair evey day. some days i french braid it very loosely before bed, and i get soft waves in the morning. just put on hairspray to hold the curls.

i put my hair up in a fun ponytail with a headband, or some days half up half down.
