Her hair at 7 months is ver fine straight hair maybe one quarter of an inch long.

my stepdaughter didn't get any hair until she was almost 2 and it was curly and her parents both had straight hair. she is now 11 and has the straightest hair I've ever seen

No. My hair was bald when I was a baby and I have very straight hair. Same with my brother.

no. by daughter was bald until she was almost 1 1/2. some kids get lots of hair others have little. its just genetics

no baby hair frequently rubs off if you out a hat or a hood on their heads even from just laying against blankets it doesnt mean it will be curly hair is genetic if both parents have straight hair more than likely the child will also unless the child gets some throw back gene but again not likely

Not necessarily. Fuzzy hair growin where baby hair used to be maybe curls though. Its all a great surprise! Just wait and see!

No it doesnt mean it will be curly. Baby hair is generally curly because its so thin. When the real hair grows in, around toddler age, in most cases, its not as curly at all.

Whatever hair she grows is what she will grow. You wont really know its texture, or realy even its color, until she's older.

This is totally normal and means nothing. Hair is a funny thing - she will most likely start off one way and end up like one of her parents or a mix of both - throwbacks happen though!

no it doesnt mean anything, she'll most likely continue having straight hair maybe with a slight curl but usually by now its figured out.

Her hair length now will not determine if it will be curly or not. My daughter had barely any hair compared to most kids her age, until around age 2. Now it just keeps growing and growing! It's gotten longer in the past few months, it's fine and straight, but curly on the ends. Between me and her father, there's no telling what kind of hair she will have to deal with! LOL Also, a person's hair texture can change when they get older. My brother always had nice, manageable hair, and now that he's growing up it's gotten a lot wavier and has a mind of it's own. It's just one of those things you can't predict, you just have to wait and see!

Not necessarily. My friend's daughter didn't really start getting a lot of hair until she was about 3 years old. And it's straight. All 3 of my kids were born with thick curly hair, and now they all have thick, poker straight hair. My husband has straight hair, and mine is slightly wavy.
