my guess is that you are using a flatiron? well, if you can afford it get a ceramic or porclian "chi" i have one and instead of damaging your hair it's actully proven to help heal and make it smoother, shinier, and stronger. Also if you go to Walgreens in the shampoo and conditioning isle there's a lot of "restoring" shampoo and conditioner. Get that and a "chi" and you're ready to go!

Dove - their conditioner is great. Garnier Ultra Doux stuff is also pretty good. If you still have fly-aways, just dab a bit of leave-in conditioner to that area.

Also, try combing your hair with a wide-toothed wooden comb instead of brushing it.
