How can I keep my hair straight without straightening it?

I don't want to use a hair straightner because I don't want to get split ends but i want my hair to be straight. btw. I have medium length dyed brown hair, about 1 or 2 inchs below the shoulders.

i use my straightener and i get tons of split ins. but is what i do is trim it more often than a usual do and when i get bored watching tv or something, i sit there and cut tiny pieces of my split ends off. it definetly doesnt show that you do it. and just make sure you dont cut a whole chunk of your hair off=] just do strand my strand.

blowdrying does just as much damage as starighting does. plus dying so if u blow dry and dye why are you worried about straigthing it? chi straightners are expensive but they dont harm your hair as much as others, try it.
