How can I make my short hair straight w/ out harsh chemicals or straightening irons?

I have very short hair, (1/4"-1") but when it reaches about 1/2 an inch it gets curly and I hate that, so I end up cutting it a lot. I am looking for a way to pretty much take all the life out of my hair, I dont want to use a hair straightening iron thing because its to much work and im lazy. Also no harsh chemicals please. Is there some sort of conditioner? or shampoo? or store bought product that will make my hair straight??? anything at all?? I really appreciate any suggestions! I am a guy by the way. Thank you!!

Whats wrong with the curls? A lot of girls think that its cute when a guy has curly hair. You are either going to have to cut it or deal with the chemicals, but consider the curls.....

Try using prell shampoo on your hair, cover from root to tip and let it sit for about an hour.

if you invest in a good ceramic straightener like a chi. it cuts the straightening time in half because it works better. and it wont dry out your hair, the ceramic actually seals moisture in the hair. and if your hair is prone to dry out wash every other day.
