How do i keep my hair straight all night?

see, when i take my showers at night, i have to dry my hair also, or else my hair is just a disaster in the morning, even if i ATTEMPT to straighten it, it won't budge. so i figure, well, i have to dry it, might as well straighten it while i'm at it. so i do that, and then i put my hair in a ponytail. well, then when i wake up, i have that ponytail wave in my hair, and i don't have time to re-straighten. anyone know what i can do to keep it straight?

thanks!

Just don't put it in a pony tail before bed, instead put a shower cap over your hair to keep it up and that will also keep it from getting wavy while you sleep on it.

to have your hair stay straighter longer don't wash it every night.

when your hair is "dirty" it holds the straightening longer.

if the problem is getting the pony tail bend... then do not tie your hair.

in the morning use a hair glaze ... this is a better way to tame your hair... better than leave in conditioner... this will wet your hair and either activate your curl again or frizz it up.

try Sebastian Laminates... works awesome!!!! You can find them at the hair dressers

is your hair naturally straight cos as for me,im also into bathing at night and im also afraid my hair would look disasterous the next day.So wad i do is i would switch on the fan on its maximum speed and let it blow dry my hair.but before that,i would comb my hair down.So as it blows my hair dry,it will look neat.Using hairdrying and straightner is not exactly a good thing because you might have dry hair if you have used it for a long time.

Wrap Your hair. It's very easy, and will keep your hair straight overnight (to be honest though, you may need to touch it up in a few places in the morning--but not too much for it to be a big deal).

Here's how you do it:

1. Near your nape, part your hair down the middle (like you would for pigtails, but not a long part from your hairline).

2. Take the two sections and cross them (left to right, right to left).

3. Pin each section in place. One Or two long bobby pins should be enough, so there wont be wrinkles. try to pin close to the ends.

4. Fold a large square satin scarf once diagonally (Triangle). Now, put it on as you would a bandana, but backwards. Put the longest part on the back of your head, and tie it in the front, above our forehead. (I like to use and extra large scarf, so i can take the excess from tying in front and tie it again in the back. Keep it as tight as possible, this keeps your hair in place while you turn in your sleep...and it's helps your hair from breaking off against cotton pillowcases due to friction - added bonus!)

In the morning, unwrap, touch up, and voila!

P.S Use Sabino Moisture Block when you straighten your hair. It blocks humidity 100% (I swear-it's the only product i have to use when i straighten my curly frizzy hair) and leaves your hair looking shiny and smooth...among other things. Check it out at www.sabinohair.com.

Hope this was helpful :)
