I bought a new hair straightner - but my hair looks ummm...TOO straight!?

i bought a new hair straightner today - the Remington TStudio Collection one- with ceramic and tourmaline! anywayz it makes my hair look TOO straight- its doesn't look natural (but i must admit, its a damn good straightner). it comes with a digital temperature control (which goes up to 230 degrees). is there a temp that will get my hair straight but "natural" looking? or is there anything i can do- like tie my hair in a bun or something?

oh btw, i have really long, wavy, BLACK hair!

well ceramic plated hair straightner are designed to make ur hair look really straight. why don't u blow dry ur hair first. then take sections of ur hair and pull ligthly but quickly with the straightner. that won't make ur hair look too straight.

you can use the straightener to create curls (yeah i know odd hey) as you pull them down the hair at the end start to turn the tongs still in a horizontal position thru a 180-360 (twizzle them round in your hand) still moving the hair slowly through

also dont straighten right from the root this will make the hair look limp

practise !

You can take sections of your hair, twist them together, roll them in a knot around themselves and take a shower like that. When you get out of the shower it will have a slight texture to it, kind of a loose wave.

yup u can. Really quick. blowdry only someways and then when it's mostly dry, then straighten, it'll have body that way. Or if it's already dry, and not straightened yet, then just run it lightly and quickly down your hair at a lower setting. If you're hair is straightened and u want to add body, then use an almost-empty body spray, and fill it with water (so it's really diluted) and then turn your head upside down and spray lightly, and do a bit of scrunching. Then blow dry by waving it at your hair like wind, not in the straight-down and pulling way. Then your hair will have a bit of body and be sweet-smelling!! Guys love pretty-smelling hair!

well you can set it lower such as a 40 degrees. and to volumnise the flat hair you can puff it up, or use a volumnising shampo and conditoner. always use serum before you straighten hair otherwise it will damge the hair and work deep on it , which is why your hair is too straight and flat.
