Get a paddle (flat brush). Shampoo and condition your hair. Conditioning is very important, it smooths the cuticle. Then after you've towel-dried your hair, put some straightening balm in it. I recommend Mop C-Straight, it's not girly-smelling and it has a little hold. Blow dry in sections, pulling the hair tight with a brush and following it down the length with the dryer on the hottest setting. If you miss a section or it dries a little curly, just wet it down and try again. It helps to use a bit of hairspray to seal in the hold and block any humidity from making it curly again.

There is a type of chemical straighting so you should check those out. That is the best suggestion I can make. Hope this helped!

Have you tried using a pressing comb or flat iron.

I want to make my hair perfectly straight?

I want to make my hair perfectly straight?

there is a line of frizz-ease shampoos and conditioners that help prepare your hair to be straight right in the shower.

or maybe you could buy the easy-straight hair system. there is also a spray that you put in your hair and then you blow dry your hair. don't know if it works, though.

So you don't want to use 'hair straighteners' - You mean the drug store variety, I assume? :p There is a Japanese hair straightening process (it lasts 6-9 mos); many salons offer this, but I daresay it's pricey. You're looking at a $200+ procedure!! Aside from that, there is a product that you can pick up in the ethnic haircare section (can't remember the name, sorry) that works with a flat iron and will keep your hair straight for 7 days. Aside from that, if your hair is long enough you might try the old '70s hippie trick and use soda cans as rollers!

I want to make my hair perfectly straight?

a perm

will help keep your hair straight

but perms can damage hair

if you don't use them the right way

so be care full

i would suggest professional help

if your not familiar with perms.

Try using john Frieda's products

they have shampoos and conditioners

that straighten hair

use a hiar straightener.

I want to make my hair perfectly straight?

how curly is it? that matters. 1 thing I know of is to try showering in the morning and blowdrying it straight, use a round brush and pull your hair straight and tight as you run the hair dryer down it. might work. ^_^

I want to make my hair perfectly straight?

I think men should leave their natural hair as is. My friend wants to loosen his waves and straighten it and I just thought he was absolutely nuts! Call me naive, but I didn't know guys actually cared for that. I'm a sucker for waves or curls... oh, the ferocity!

The Japanese hair straightening method (rebonding I think it's called) causes severe hair damage. A couple of my friends have gotten it and it's caused hair loss, dryness, etc.

You could try something called Straighten Out by FX. I overheard someone talking about it, and all you have to do is smooth some of the stuff out on your hair and blowdry it. Or you could get a perm.

Try to blow dry it straight or use an iron. Chemical straighteners will straighten your hair, but the roots still grow out curly. It's expensive and time consuming. Just remember, most girls love a guy with curls.
