i hav naturally thick, curly, frizzy hair. i do have GHD straigtners and they work wonders. but my only problem is that my hair doesnt stay straight all day. it ends up flicking in and out. i go to school and this annoys me because i cant really do anything about it while im in school and im a teenager and always want to look my best. my dad is a hairdresser and gives me loads of tips but my hair just wont stay straight. he says its maybe because its so thick but i dont see how that can effect that. can anyone please give me a few tips and pointers. you should layer it all over, its easier then and make sure you put serum in it when you straighten it.

next time you go and get your hair cut, get it thinned out a little bit.

my hair is reallllly curly and thick also.. and i ust a CHI straightener..

i just blow dry my hair and brush it straight.. then its a huge poof, but then i use my chi straightener, and i have no problems keeping it straight all day, just take a little longer when straightening it so its realllly flat.

ddont shake your head alot put gel and hairspray and push it down with your hand and relax dont et so worked up about it because when you do your hair is goingto frizz even more. Also wear it half down or put some clips to help it stay straight. I have the EXACT SAME type of hair.

hey i had the exact same problem! after trying everything in the book, i finally tried CHI 44 Iron Guard spray i got it for christmas last year. It really works for me and it keeps the static away too! I also use a little bit of hairspray after i straighten my hair at the ends, that seems to work as well.

ok well if you really would like to have straight hair and you are willing to spend money for it. there is this thing called Herstyle hair straighteners. they are recently designed, and they are a new technogoly. they do NOT burn your hair. its some kind of thing, youll have to explore the website. they are a little expensive but omg is it EVER worth it. you can straghten like so much hair at once. it take me like 5 minutes and i have long thick hair.
