How long does mizani keep your hair straight, and how do you apply it and how does it work?

Does mizani make curly hair bone straight, or wavy. I just want wavy, but straight would be ok with me too(perferably wavy). I tried Rusk's anticurl relaxer and it worked amazinggly on my hair. It made my curly hair wavy/straight. I was so happy and than it wore off three days later. I was hoping that mizani would work anywhere between 4-8 weeks. If i have the wrong idea, please someone let me know. Also can someone clue me in on how it works and how dangerous it is

If properly applied, Mizani should last 6 to 8 weeks providing you straight hair. I don't believe in giving yourself home relaxers and perms as it could damage your hair. It would be worth your time to visit with a professional stylist to apply the relaxer for you. If it is your first time, it probably should be applied to the entire hair shaft as your hair is in its virgin state. The next application will only be applied to the new growth. If your hair retracted after 2-3 days it was not applied properly. Mizani products are great and not dangerous especially if applied by a professional stylist.

Mizani the relaxer is permanent. It will make your hair 80% straighter but not bone straight. If you want it bone straight you have to use a flat iron afterwards. To me its pointless so. .

I think what you want is a texturizer. What a texturizer does is it lossens any texture pattern (curls or waves) and makes them more manageable. In addition to that it makes the hair smoother and less frizzy. So you will have more ease wearing your hair curly and will have no problems getting it straight.
